Mentally preparing self to change the entire frameset structure to 2 arrays instead, because I can't create a structure array without pre-defining the amount... if u can I don't know how. And that means I would have to make it 30k or something depending on how crazy people get with animations, which would waste a ton of memory.

removed unexisting frame count variable, and left the brackets for frameset struct empty, I will be creating the struct with frame_num_struct_builder... hopefully it lets me do that.

fixed the error in creating a variable in the for statement... I'm used to doing that in Java. I just created the variable before hand.

-adjusted frame_num_struct_builder by adding 1 to the total amount. (line 270)
reason: by example
sframe = 1
eframe = 2

eframe - sframe = 1.. when in reality 2 frames should be rendered... so it is now
int total = (sframe - eframe) +1;

refined frame_finder() function to use the structure for total_frames data... and optimized its frame scanning so that it scanned from (for example) 0 to 249 is 250 because the computer counts 0 as one of its numbers.

the statement in status_report_generator() function that adjust the hcfjob global variable to be able to increase the hcfjob by more than 1 per status_report_generator() function itteration by changing it to a while statement from an if statement.

moved the declaration of the num1 and num2 variables till after hcfjob was checked, because the value of num1 is based off the hcfjob value.

Added ability for status_report_generator() function to calculate the percent_done of the job and count the number of frames assigned, but not yet completed.

finished status report generator to count the number of frames completed and update the int variable in the blendjob structure. Still need to add code to count the number of frames assigned and the percent done.

How do you round an interger to 2 decimal places?

moved possibility to secondary upload location to blendjob structure from the frameset structure... cause its not gonna change in between frames... it would just waste a ton of memory.

Still need to add more comments to the status report generator.

tweaked the blendjob structure

tweaked my functions to support the two new global variables hcfjob and highest_jobnum. Need to check functions for 100% accuracy due to start frame - end frame not = 0 frames to be rendered.

added a bit more to the status report generator

for the frame_finder function... it only returns a interger for the frame to be rendered... but the slave also needs the name of the folder the source files are stored in, and the name of the blend file to open to render the frame. Maybe return a string? and have the slave parse it for variables?

example above also describes highest_jobnum, which I also found very useful for scanning and creating the next job (new_jobnum = highest_jobnum + 1).

I might have done more work on the_finisher function as well... can't remember and I need to rest... its 2:20 am

frame_finder now takes into account priority, which I defined. 0 priority is done, 1 priority is the lowest, 10 is the highest. While creating this and my status_report_generator function (which is still a thought) I have created some new global variables.

Instead of starting a scan at jobnum zero every time, I decided to make the global variable hcfjob (highest consecutive finished job).
